Profile

His commitment to the national project of the then-candidate to the Presidency, Vicente Fox, became evident when he agreed to be the General Coordinator of his electoral campaign. Since July, 2000, he has worked with the Transition Staff as an Advisor to the President Elect.

Cerisola has extensive experience in the communications and transportation sector. For five years, he worked for Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliares in Projects and Planning in the General Management of the Mexico City International Airport. He later worked as the Commercial Assistant Director and Director of Operations of Aeronaves de Mexico, S.A. de C.V.

He was Director of the Bureau of Civil Aeronautics of the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation in the mid-80's. At the end of the decade, he became the General Manager of Aerovías de Mexico, and was responsible for its creation in 1988. As the person in charge of this company, he was successful in constructing an airline in forty-five days, an airline that established a world record for punctuality, and saw its value rise seven times in less than two years.

For eight years he worked for Teléfonos de Mexico, in various positions: Operations Director, Director of Planning and lastly, Regional General Manager. He studied architecture at the National School of Architecture of the National Autonomous University of Mexico and in the School of Architecture of the Iberoamerican University. He also studied Executive Business Administration courses at the IPADE.

He was born in Mexico City on March 13, 1949.
